Reformation Mumbra Cup -2015(Football) By JIH Mumbra, Youth Wing, SIO

Growing interest in Football, to increase Sportsman spirit, Healthy life, Competitive body language among students and youths in Mumbra, Jamaat e Islami Hind(JIH) Mumbra, Youth Wing, SIO-Students Islamic Organisation of India jointly organized a football tournament Reformation Cup Mumbra-2015 with the theme V4CT(We for constructive thoughts). The two day tournament 05-06 September started from the morning of 05th September after getting inaugurated by Mr. Mauzam Asre (President JIH- Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Mumbra). 18 teams from Mumbra and outside Mumbra participated which were distributed in two groups that played group wise matches. One team from each group was then selected for the finals.

Final Match is played among two best teams Mumbra F.C. And Milaan F.C. (Byculla, Mumbai) in the evening of 06th September and from these two teams Mumbra F.C. outshined and won the finale by beating Milaan F.C. in the Penalty Shootout (3-2).

Winner and Runner-up both the teams were given their Trophies and Prize money by our chief guest Mr. Zafar Ansari (Tarbiyat Secretary JIH- Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Maharashtra). Prizes were also given for the Best Player to Tabish of Mumbra F.C. and Best Goal Keeper to Aadil of Vidyavihar F.C. (Mumbai). With this Tournament- Reformation Cup Mumbra-2015 came to an end by a decision of JIH-Mumbra, Youth Wing, SIO - to organize such Tournament in the coming years.
