Reforming Society Through Sports

Launching program of 9th Annual Reformation Football Cup held successfully. The organizers Youth Wing Jamaat e Islami Hind, SIO Mumbra and Ideal Relief Committee Trust and Gold Sponsor Azim Shaikh of SK Valley, Silver Sponsor Noor Mohammed of DZ City by SKYLINE Enterprises, Bronze Sponsors Shahid Khan of Zafran Mega Mart, A.Rahman Sir, Alim Sir, Shakil Sir of Excellences Classes revealed the teams and theirs dress.

AZTEC, Evolution, MUFA and Mumbra Football Academy of the city joined the launching program along with their trainees kids, Junior Teams & Coaches.

The objective of Reformation cup is to keep students & youths away from unhealthy addictions such as drug abuse, mobile games, social media & other unhealthy activities. It also desires to instill interest in outdoor sports so youth can be motivated to lead healthy life and competitive spirit.

One of the sponsor shared his experience with one of teams from last year's event. He said that the teams from outside Mumbra had a different view of Mumbra, but after participating in the event at mumbra’s stadium, they experienced the passion in the crowd, professionalism and hospitality of the organizers and were left impressed.

All the sponsors appreciated the organizers for organizing such a huge sports event in Mumbra city for the last 9 years. They also appealed to young footballers from the various academies to keep their focus and work hard to act as ambassadors for their beloved city, state & country.

This year's Reformation cup (open - entry fees Rs 4000) will be 2 day & night event. It will be held on 18th & 19th Dec 2021 at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad TMC Stadium, with Winner walking away with a trophy and cash prize of Rs 30000. The 2nd prize is Rs 20000, while the JUNIORS cup(Under 12 - entry fees Rs 800) will be held on 12th Dec 2021 at JK Turf, Y Junction Mumbra with Winner getting Rs 5000. The runner-up will get a cash prize of Rs 3000. 16 teams will participate in seniors football cup and 8 teams will play in juniors event.

The other prizes are Best Player, Best Goalkeeper and Fair play award in both SENIORS & JUNIORS Category.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the best role model as a leader for all human beings who successfully unified the people of different backgrounds on the basis of Piousness and accountability on the day of judgement.

Jamaat e Islami Hind Mumbra conducted a very successful program titled 'My Prophet(PBUH) My Leader' on Saturday 30th October 2021 @ 6.30 pm @ Rayyan Construction ground Kausa, Mumbra. A very large gathering of Men and Women of all ages turned out to witness the successful program.

Jamaat e Islami Hind Mumbra being a Socio-Religious organization works in coordination with other organizations. Learned speakers of the community from different organizations were invited to speak on the topic of ' My Prophet (pbuh) My Leader ' like Mr Obaidullah Khan Azmi, (Founder AIMPLB, Ex Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha and Islamic Scholar), Maulana Waliullah Sayeedi Falahi (National Secretary, Training and Development, JIH Delhi), Mufti Huzaifa sb ( President Jamiat e Ulama e hind, Thane District), Jb Ali Asghar Haidery(President All India Shia Federation) represented by his representative, Maulana Faisal Madni (Director Jamia Islamiah, Kausa, Mumbra) and Prof Javed Shaikh (Astt. Professor A R Kalsekar Polytechnic, Panvel).

The theme of this program was to remind the community of the significance of our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in our day to day life as the Guide and Leader in all spheres of life. The solution to all the current problems and injustice is that the Ummah should reunite and restore the glory of Islam as guided by our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and very well reflected in title My Prophet, My Leader. Subhanallah.

Moulana Waliullah Sayeedi Falahi presided the program who stated that Islam & Muhammad (pbuh) is not only for Muslims but for the entire humanity, beneficial for all untill the judgement day. During his speech he asked audience to take oath by raising hands that we will not be divided on petty issues, We will love our guide Muhammad(pbuh) & follow his guidance in its totality until our last breath, We will conduct our marriages with simplicity and avoid unnecessary display of wealth as directed by Sunnah(Traditions of Muhammad(pbuh), We will give daughters her share of wealth as per shariah. We will convey the word of God to humanity and strive to implement teachings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in our life, family and society.

The chief guest of the program and the most fiery speaker of our times Moulana Obaidullah Khan Azmi said that we must love everyone but no hate for anyone, respect elders, while spreading love & affection to the kids & youngsters. He further said that basically a person/community is terrorist who terrorizes helpless people/community through various means such as thru Arms and ammunitions, Brutal Laws, Using Media for selfish gains, exploitative Bureaucracy etc. Those who say that Islam spread through sword and terrorism should ponder and question as to how Islam spread in Malaysia, Indonesia etc. Answer will be no one but they hide truth and spread lies. In fact Islam spread by uplifting the moral of the weak & subjugated people and giving the concept of Equality between Arab, Non Arab, Black & White etc.

Moulana Azadar Sajjadi said we have to follow & implement Quran, Muhammad(pbuh) principles in our day to day life while being united and respecting each other.

Mufti Huzaifa Qasmi Sahab said that those who follow Islam in its totality will face trials and tribulations. He quoted several examples from the life of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and His followers (rz). The one who bears the trials with patience for rewards in the Hereafter will succeed In sha Allah.

Moulana Faisal Madni Sahab spoke on Moral values and Islamic Character citing the whole life of our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as example to one and all. He quoted several examples from the life of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to substantiate his views.

He further said that the Deen e Islam brought by our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is for the entire Mankind and to their benefit in the world and the Hereafter. The best amongst you is the one who fears Allah Almighty the most.The Prophet (pbuh) was sent as a Mercy to Mankind of all worlds.
