Jamaat e Islami Hind launches Peace and Humanity movement to counter Fascism and Communalism

Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has always opposed bigotry, narrow mindedness and violence in the name of religion and it has always endeavored to get rid of these evils from the country. In response to the currently prevailing alarming situation, it has decided to launch a nation-wide campaign to convey the message of peace and humanity to all countrymen. Accordingly, the ‘Peace and Humanity Campaign’ would be run all over the country from the 21st of August to the 4th of September 2016. This is by no means a traditional awareness campaign; rather its goal is to bring about some firm and perceptible changes in society. While the objective of this campaign is also to appeal to the conscience of the country and rouse it, but beyond that our goal is to ensure the establishment of a string of institutions right from the community level to the local level and the promotion of necessary practices to help consistently counter this menace of communal hatred.

We also desire the active help of each one of you and that of every justice-loving, concerned citizen of this country, for this cause. We want constructive, peace loving and justice loving people to come forward, become active, join hands at every level and gather strength, then come together and engage themselves in the construction of a future where 125 crore Indians unite on the foundations of the strongest bonds of humanity and work together for their collective development and prosperity, so that our next generation does not inherit an acrimonious society but a society that is better than the one we are living in. This is the very responsibility of every generation and we shall all fulfill this responsibility, God-willing.

Under the campaign Jamaat-e-Islami Mumbra is doing below activities

• Hindu Muslim Sikh Christian Unity platform(Sadbhavana Munch in each area irrespective of caste, religion and language) will be constructed.
• Trust among the people of all religions to peace and reconciliation, constructive dialogue will be done.
• August 28, 2016 Sunday Peace and Humanity Reformation Football Cup ⚽ is placed at Dombivali Lodha Ground.
• Public gathering open to all Faiths on Sunday 4h September 2016 Morning 10.30AM to 1PM at NKT College, Thane.
• Common gathering on Sunday 4h September 2016 Evening 7PM to 10PM at Diamond Hall Mumbra
• Meeting with various police stations officials for telling about the campaing’s reason and need.
• The aim of the campaign is to increase the unity and brotherhood will be communicated through street plays, corner meetings, lectures in school colleges and meeting with various personalities.

This is a nationwide campaign throughout the country, so Jamaat-e-Islami Hind at different places doing different programmes within this campaign, please help us to spread and achieve Peace, Justice, and Humanity
