Jamaat e Islami Hind launches Peace and Humanity movement to counter Fascism and Communalism

Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has always opposed bigotry, narrow mindedness and violence in the name of religion and it has always endeavored to get rid of these evils from the country. In response to the currently prevailing alarming situation, it has decided to launch a nation-wide campaign to convey the message of peace and humanity to all countrymen. Accordingly, the ‘Peace and Humanity Campaign’ would be run all over the country from the 21st of August to the 4th of September 2016. This is by no means a traditional awareness campaign; rather its goal is to bring about some firm and perceptible changes in society. While the objective of this campaign is also to appeal to the conscience of the country and rouse it, but beyond that our goal is to ensure the establishment of a string of institutions right from the community level to the local level and the promotion of necessary practices to help consistently counter this menace of communal hatred.

We also desire the active help of each one of you and that of every justice-loving, concerned citizen of this country, for this cause. We want constructive, peace loving and justice loving people to come forward, become active, join hands at every level and gather strength, then come together and engage themselves in the construction of a future where 125 crore Indians unite on the foundations of the strongest bonds of humanity and work together for their collective development and prosperity, so that our next generation does not inherit an acrimonious society but a society that is better than the one we are living in. This is the very responsibility of every generation and we shall all fulfill this responsibility, God-willing.

Under the campaign Jamaat-e-Islami Mumbra is doing below activities

• Hindu Muslim Sikh Christian Unity platform(Sadbhavana Munch in each area irrespective of caste, religion and language) will be constructed.
• Trust among the people of all religions to peace and reconciliation, constructive dialogue will be done.
• August 28, 2016 Sunday Peace and Humanity Reformation Football Cup ⚽ is placed at Dombivali Lodha Ground.
• Public gathering open to all Faiths on Sunday 4h September 2016 Morning 10.30AM to 1PM at NKT College, Thane.
• Common gathering on Sunday 4h September 2016 Evening 7PM to 10PM at Diamond Hall Mumbra
• Meeting with various police stations officials for telling about the campaing’s reason and need.
• The aim of the campaign is to increase the unity and brotherhood will be communicated through street plays, corner meetings, lectures in school colleges and meeting with various personalities.

This is a nationwide campaign throughout the country, so Jamaat-e-Islami Hind at different places doing different programmes within this campaign, please help us to spread and achieve Peace, Justice, and Humanity

🙏May Almighty bestow upon us the true guidance and give us the inclination to sacrifice our wealth, time , abilities, resource and life in the cause of Islam. May these sacrifice be only for Allah and the same be rewarded beyond our expectations on the Day of Judgement(Aakhira). Aameen.

"An idea to change stereotype of locality and Towards Economic Upliftment" Made In Mumbra Exhibition and Business Summit concluded successfully.

Changing Stereotypes... Promoting Entrepreneurship- Business Seminar and Exhibition in Mumbra

The 4th Micro and Small Business Summit and Made in Mumbra Exhibition was successfully organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) Mumbra on Sunday, the 3rd of April outside Mumbra Railway Station.  Made In Mumbra Exhibition was Inaugurated by Mr. V. Agwan (COSIA - Vice President) and Vinay Kumar (Director - MSME-DI), Maulana Sharif Sabri (President - Sunni Islahi Tehreek,  Jamaat e Ittehad ul Muslimeen) . 

Seminar sessions on various government schemes for existing and beginner entrepreneurs were conducted. The Central Government's Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises- Development Institute (MSME-DI) Assistant Director Mr Vinay Kumar shared in-depth knowledge of the activities being held by MSME. He gave details on how Mumbra businessmen and entrepreneurs can advance their businesses by registering their companies with MSME, which provides assistance with startups, training, sale and exports.

Chamber of Commerce of Small scale Industries Association (COSIA) Vice President Mr. Vinay Agwan provided very useful information related to training & skill development of required workforce and offered that they can help entrepreneurs to quote tenders in all government related projects. He said that COSIA offers their services to those entrepreneurs who finds difficulty dealing with Government employees and paper work.  He emphasized to get registered with COSIA and MSME as well as Udyog AADHAR.

Mr Ashraf Mohammadi of Rehbar Financial consultant Pvt. Ltd. sketched an excellent map on Interest  Free Islamic Banking and the benefits one can avail therefrom. They offer both services- investment opportunities for investors and business loans to the Mumbra businessmen . “Interest free banking brings investors and businessmen closer and both are benefitted”, averred Mr Ashraf.

Sister Nikhat Mohammadi delivered motivational talk about women entrepreneurs with reference to Khadija(r.a) wife of Muhammad(SAW ).

A special session on Opportunities for Women was also held, in which COSIA's General Secretary Mr. Ninad Yayant and Mr. Sajit Nair of Yuva Parivartan emphasized upon women empowerment and opportunities for women such as tailoring, cake making, bakery products, other businesses which can be run from home.

The Made in Mumbra exhibition saw more than 35 business from Mumbra exhibiting their industrial ventures in neatly placed stalls. It was a win-win deal for both- the exhibitors as well the visitors, many of whom were astonished to witness the high level of entrepreneur skills among local businessmen. More than 5000 people visited this 12 hour exhibition with more than just inspiration and high spirits to take back home. Indeed, as previous such summits have shown, budding businessmen get to learn about new avenues and opportunities here, allowing them to expand and strengthen their enterprises.

Mr. Zafar Ansari, a senior member of JIH from Mumbra, is certain that apart from being directly beneficial to the business class, such programs also serve to highlight the wide spectrum of Islam- that it is not merely confined to masajid, but is here to solve the issues of all mankind. Speaking to this scribe, he called upon other units and organizations to emulate such gestures.
